Mark the date, Amsterdam-based RnB duo Secret Rendezvous returns on 7th August with a special new maxi featuring two unheard stripped-back acoustic versions of their soothing jams ‘Back In The Day’, released last year, and ‘Your Love’, out earlier this year on Boogie Angst.
An ode to the ‘90s candid vibes and the birth of a teen love, ‘Back In The Day’ beams us up to a time of jolly carefreeness and fun-loving attitudes. On this new version, Sietske’s hypnotically suave vocals and Remi’s sleek and bouncy hip-hop prod make room for a spell of warm and intimate guitar-and-voice bliss that ticks all the boxes of your ideal summer chill tune. Breathing in further scope depth and square-shooting emotion into the words that flow across this nostalgic throwback, Secret Rendezvous sure strike a chord of symbiotic harmony.
